The Black Portlanders is a blog started by Intisar Abioto. She is a writer, dancer, photographer, and multi-disciplinary artist from Portland. The idea of Black Portlanders came through a family discussion between her, her sister and mother about black people Portland. The idea manifested as "The Black Portlanders".
